Docu-Systems, Inc. was proud to serve as a sponsor in “The First Tee of Akron Annual Golf Outing and Dinner Auction” at Firestone Country Club for the past two years.

Friday’s event at Mud Run in Akron provided us with the opportunity to play nine holes of golf with two of the kids in the First Tee program.  We were impressed with the kids’ appreciation of the program and all they had learned.

Saturday’s program was a five-man scramble on the beautiful Firestone West Course, followed by dinner and an auction in the banquet room. Docu-Systems provided the graphics for the three Magicpak™ Display Units, which served as a backdrop for the podium.

Docu-Systems, Inc. also co-sponsored two large banners, which hung from the Firestone Deck, and the custom-imprinted photo frames that were given to each of the golfers.  A photograph taken of each group and the frame, imprinted with the “First Tee” logo and date of the event, made for a wonderful keepsake.

Why Do You Need Document Security?

Check fraud is big business with annual losses estimated at $10 Billion.  The problem is that technology is advancing so fast, it has become incredibly easy to create false documents.  Color copiers reproduce most checks beautifully.  Scanners, computers, and printers create checks that look as good as the original.  Banks are trying to keep costs down, so tellers are encouraged to hurry through each transaction - they don’t even have to verify signatures on checks.

Changes in the Universal Commercial Code have allowed liability to be shifted from banks onl y to the party most able to prevent the fraud.  This can be YOU!  Just a few inexpensive features can indicate that you have made the effort to prevent fraud, shifting responsibility away from you and back to the bank.
